Acquaintance Party


   A few days before the Acquaintance Party i was so excited and was quite confused with regards to what my attire will be.I can hardly wait for that day because for the very first time i would experience this Acquaintnace Party.We went to different malls to look for a clothes that would fit my personality.
   And finally when the day comes i wake up early to prepare all the neccessary things needed in the party. I polish my nails and wear all the accessories.Then i wore my attire and headed to the party.Whenwe finally arrived,my friends and i felt embarrased because there are lots of people.And eventually we took pictures with my friends and schoolmates.
   Then after that we went inside walking in a red carpet then they pictures of us.Then we go inside to have a seat and have a chat with my friends while waiting the program to properly start.When the program start,all of us stood up for the doxology and remain standing for the national anthem.Then after that we sat down to watched the program.An hour after,we ate our dinner.

Drum and Lyre

    A  Drum and Lyre Corps  is a  marching  ensemble consisting of strictly  percussion instruments  and a  color guard  section. The Drum and Lyre corps originated in the Philippines, as it is easier to finance than brass bands or a  drum and bugle corps . The instrumentation of a drum and lyre corps consists of a typical  marching band  ( snare ,  tenor , and  bass  drums, and  cymbals ) with the bell lyre section.      A standard Drum and Lyre Corps has 4-48 members. There must be only one leader in a group. This leader serves as the conductor. He/She leads the band in parade and exhibitions. He uses a conductor stick and must be shown with respect by the band.     The Lyre section make up the majority of the band. They play the melodic part of the band. A member of the band that consist this section is called a lyrist. In bigger bands, the band may add a bass lyre, a bell lyre with a lower range of keys and sometimes a grand lyre, a bell lyre with a wide range of keys.

Buwan ng Wika

    Taon-taon isa sa mga pinakamahalaga at inaabangang celebrasyon ay ang Buwan ng Wika na ginaganap tuwing Agosto sa buong bansa.  Ngayong Buwan ng Wika 2017 ang theme/tema ay Filipino: Wikang Mapagbago. Makikita natin sa tema palang na ang pagbabago ay palaging nangyayari pati ang ating sariling wika ay merong mga pagbabagong nagaganap at sa kabilang banda maraming din itong pagbabagong naitutulong sa bawat Pilipino na patuloy paring nililinang at ginagamit ang ating pambansang wikang Filipino.     Ang  Buwan ng Wika 2017 Theme   ay Filipino: Wikang Mapagbago. Dito iikot ang aktibidad na gaganapin sa bawat paaralan. Ito ay ang gagamiting basehan sa buong buwan na mga aktibidad gaya ng jingle writing, paggawa ng slogan/slogan making, poster making/pagggawa ng poster, pagggawa ng salaysay/tula/sanaysay at iba pa.     Ang wika ay isang bahagi ng pakikipagtalastasan. Kalipunan ito ng mga simbolo, tunog, at mga kaugnay na batas upang maipahayag ang nais sabihin ng kaisipan. May
